Film Productions and Locations

Georgetown is becoming a popular location for film productions due to its historic downtown buildings and proximity to the film industry in Austin.

Filming in Georgetown requires an Event Permit if the film production will require street closures, use of public buildings, noise impacts, or other factors. The Event Permit is available at http://files.georgetown.org/event-application.
