The seven-member Main Street Advisory Board makes recommendations to the City Council regarding the promotion, maintenance, and encouragement of the civic, social, commercial, tourist and economic welfare of the historic downtown central business district of Georgetown.  The Board consists of seven members appointed by the City Council in accordance with the City Charter. Members of the Board shall represent public and private sector interests. Additionally, through public advertising, nominations will be requested from downtown commercial property owners and downtown business owner.
